To improve your experience and help maintain the highest standard of quality we have the following policies in place for everyone's benefit.
All dogs will be visited no less than every 9 hours, although recommended three times a day. If your dog is crated we must do at least 3 visits a day so the dog can relieve himself and get to stretch their legs. At minimum we recommend two visits per day (8-9 am and 7-8 pm) for dogs but we recommend three (adding a midday) for the comfort of your pet. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Invoicing of services will be on the 15th and last day of the month. Payment is required within 3 business days to continue services for the next billing cycle.
All overnight care bookings require a 50% deposit at time of booking.
For your security and protection, all pet sitting reservations MUST BE CONFIRMED before you leave. By leaving a voice mail or sending an email or text message requesting pet sitting is not enough. Please be sure that we have responded to your request and have you on our calendar before you assume that we will be there.
If you cancel with more than 24 hours notice from the earlier part of your arrival time frame, then we will be happy to credit the walk(s). Walks cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded as we will also have to pay your dog walker. Cancellations for Mondays will need to be received before 8 pm on the preceding Friday otherwise it will be received Monday morning and treated as a same day cancellation.
Regularly scheduled services do not occur on statutory holidays. If you still require your regular visit on these holidays, please let us know in advance so we can add you to the schedule.
All Holiday (see list below) reservations must be paid in full at booking. Cancellations 7 days prior to the first visit are entitled to a 50% credit for entire schedule and will be given a credit that can be used towards future visits. Cancellations less than one week notice are non-refundable and will not receive a credit.
We cannot resell time that has been expressly held and reserved for you. To avoid the non-refundable fee, please contact Wild Tails with more than 24 hours notice (or 7 days if it’s a Holiday reservation) if you need to reschedule an appointment.

Shared Responsibilities Or Others With Access To Home
We require that you notify us if there is ever a possibility that other individuals will be in your home during any time period when your pet is in our care. We take the care and safety of your pet and home very seriously and will contact the police if we feel your home safety has been violated. Additionally, if others are given access to your home it will compromise certain areas of our insurance policies.
